Memories of New York City

Image
Country:  USA     State:  New York Place: Museum of Modern Art As far as collections go, this museum must rank as having one of the best in the world. Any time I am in New York, it is first on my list. For me it gives an opportunity to observe the best examples of the Fine Art experience in the last two centuries. There is always so much to see and enjoy, and so much to learn. Of course, there are other museums that you can visit.  This, to me, is the best place to start. http://www.moma.org/ Below close up images of some masterpieces, and general views of people visiting. The Streets of Mexico City

Image
Country:  Mexico      City:  Mexico City    Place: Plaza de la Constitucion o Zocalo  This was my third time in visting Mexico City.  The last time I stayed in the Zona Rosa area  in the NH hotel.  This time, I decided to make a change, choosing a more central location around Zocalo Square.   The Zocalo Central Hotel was petite by Zona Rosa standard, but was also quite exquisite and charming.  This time, I placed a greater effort on observing the local way of life, and used the huge square as a focal point on many occasions. In spite the presence of the National Palace, it is the Cathedral which dominates the area. Travel:  American Airlines via Dallas Fort Worth The last visit, I was enchanted by the Pyramids of Teotihuacan and the Shrine Guadalupe.  It was a sightseeing tour ( Recommended ), and it delivered the unique experience of both settings. Teotihuacan offers the best examp...

I have profound interest in succulents, but I can also be very excited by other exotic plants.  managing plants in the UK , is not a very easy pastime, The cold and inclement weather for most of the year sometimes do a lot of damage to my collection.  Yet I struggle on. ...
